In order to test the change of tissue structure and plastid pigment of tobacco leaves under different altitudes, the safflower Daijin-yuan was used as experimental material. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the histological thickness and palisade cell density between the leaves of high and low altitudes before the height of 20 cm was reached. However, the tissue thickness of high altitude tobacco was thin after 20 cm of leaf length, More dense. The content of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and total chlorophyll in high altitude tobacco leaves were lower before the leaf length was 50 cm, but the tobacco leaves had higher content of carotenoids at high altitude, and chlorophyll a / chlorophyll b, carotenoids / Chlorophyll ratio is also larger. The results showed that the tissue structure and plastid pigment content of tobacco leaves were significantly different under high altitude and low altitude conditions, resulting in significant differences in cell structure and photosynthesis, leading to differences in the inherent quality and style of tobacco at different altitudes.
