In the past decades,partially coherent beams with conventional correlation functions (i.e.,Gaussian correlated Schell-model functions) have been studied extensively,and have found wide applications,such as free-space optical communications,particle trapping,atom cooling,ghost imaging,laser scanning,inertial confinement fusion,photography,second-harmonic generation,and optical scattering.
