Decoherence suppression in single neutral atoms is of great importance for quantum information processing and precision measurements.Typically with trapped alkali-metal atoms,the hyperfme levels of ground state can be considered as qubits, which are easily manipulated via microwave or Rarnan transitions.Decoherence represents a loss of information and can be a serious limitation.Especially for scaling to plenty of atoms in the optical lattice, long coherence time is crucial to the storage and the manipulation of quantum information.
