BeiDou Navigation Satellite System is China’s own Navigation Satellite System. It is a pivotal infrastructure construction of China’s space information in progress. BeiDou Navigation Satellite System can be widely applied to all fields of economy and society. Therefore, the study of BeiDou Navigation Satellite System used in the field of communication and navigation of ships is of practical significance. The assignment of this paper is designing a Positioning Information Reception and Process System, which combine BeiDou Navigation Satellite System and microprocessor technology. The positioning information’s receiving, processing, displaying and alarm monitoring functions are provided in system. The system can apply to many fields.In this paper, a Positioning Information Reception and Process System based on BeiDou Satellite is designed by studying and researching the theory of Navigation Satellite System, the structure and communication protocols of BeiDou Navigation Satellite. The system is comprised of BeiDou Satellite receiver module, SCM control module, LCD display module and alarm monitoring module. The hardware of system is comprised of MSP4305438A SCM and CC-50 BeiDou Satellite receiver as core components. The software of function modules are designed after the designing of connection of peripheral circuit and interface circuit of function modules. The software of system is comprised of positioning information receiving process, positioning information processing process, LCD displaying process and alarm monitoring process, which uses C programming. This paper uses computer with IAR development environment, as the software running and test platform. When design is completed, the system is tested and obtain the test results combine with the requirement of practical application.According to the system test results, the system can receive and process the BeiDou positioning information, display these information through LCD, meanwhile, it can provide alarm monitoring function through words displaying and LED warning.
