一、现状、问题、对策八十年代的十年,我国出版规模扩大了近4倍,国外有学者计算,管理工作量的增加与生产规模扩大的平方成正比,在这样的情况下,出版管理工作要适应改革开放和建设社会主义精神文明的需要,多出书,快出书,出好书,只有以下两个途径:一是增加管理人员,但这样要增加开支和对新增人员进行培养,令人不放心的是新增加的工作人员的素质很难把握,搞得不好,与事无补,反而带来麻烦;另一个途径则是在不增加人员的情况下利用电子计算机技术,通过开发和应用适合出版管理规律的软件系统使出版管理现代化,向科学技术要人员,要效益。这后一条途
