In January 2016, Health Policy and Planning published an article entitled “Evolution of health coverage in Mexico: evidence of progress and challenges in the Mexican health system”, progress and challenges for universal coverage of health in Mexico Analyzed. The article uses the Mexican national medical and nutrition survey data from 2006 to 2012, selects medical insurance coverage and residents’ accessibility to preventive medical interventions.
