《日食和月食》是小学自然教材“宇宙”单元中比较重要的一课。这一课旨在通过观察、想象、分析和推理,揭示日食和月食的成因。但由于日食和月食并不是一种很常见的自然景象,也可以说大部分学生是没有这方面的感性经验的。因此,如果本课从日食和月食的现象引入,似乎脱离了学生的生活实际,对教学的顺利进行形成障碍。人教版在安排这部分教材的时候,从学生是否见过日食开始,通过一系列繁琐的问题,逐步让学生推测日食的形成可能是由于月球挡住了太阳的光,教学起来很费力,学生似乎也没有探究的兴趣。江苏省自然教材在这方面作了调整,前面没有出现一系列复杂的问题,但仍是从“你看过月食吗?”这样一个学生并不熟悉的现象入手,我觉得还是不利于激起学生探究的热情。我在教学这一课时,对教材进行了重新的处理。我是这样设计的:
