As the foundation of higher education in pottery, the scientific rigor of educational philosophy and teaching mode at undergraduate level is very important. After more than ten years of humbly studying at Chinese Academy of Fine Arts, the author has explored practice and focused on the academic orientation of the syllabus. She constantly earnestly learned and absorbed the experiences of her predecessors, and repeatedly explored the scientific and effective teaching methods. This article tries to summarize the teaching experience through the case analysis of 2015 undergraduates’ creation and try to sort out the viewpoint and viewpoints of undergraduate pottery teaching which has the characteristics of differentiation, expecting the peer exchange of criticism.
