如今的出书,似乎有点儿像当年的全民大炼钢铁,谁都可以来“书”一下,尤其是那些“腕”级人物,你方唱罢我登场:或“随想”难忘岁月,或“凭临”琐碎草木,或“自白”儿女情长,或按捺不住要让芸芸众生分享自己“日子”的痛苦与喜悦且一展玉照芳容。这些只能谓之大路货的书辞采义理贫乏,而每每装帧精美绝伦,发行量牛气冲天。相比之下,那些学有所长、研有所专的学者、作家们,却显得狼狈不堪:中国历史地理专业委员会主任、原杭州大学终身教授陈桥驿牵头、知名学者叶光庭等人翻译的《中华帝国晚期的城市》这一倍受各国汉学家赞誉的扛鼎学术专著,1984年完稿,历13载“泥牛入海无消息”(《联谊报》披露后,又辗
Today’s book seems to be a bit like the people’s steelmaking in the past.
