以ESP为中心的医学院校英语课程改革不但能激发医学专业学生学习英语的兴趣,而且可以满足他们的特殊学习需求,符合英语教学的趋势即朝着多样化和个性化发展。它的顺利进行必须以科学的课程设计为前提,在课程设置、教学方式、教学资料、教师队伍建设以及测试与评估等方面一定要本着实事求是的原则,因需施教与因材施教相结合,这样才能取得最佳的教学效果,并真正提高学生的语言使用能力。
ESP-centered medical college English curriculum reform can not only stimulate medical students’ interest in learning English, but also meet their special learning needs. The trend of conforming to English teaching is towards diversification and individualization. Its smooth progress must be based on the scientific curriculum design. It must follow the principle of seeking truth from facts in the aspects of curriculum, teaching methods, teaching materials, construction of teachers, testing and evaluation. In order to achieve the best teaching effect and truly improve students’ language ability.
