智障儿童的数学逻辑思维能力较弱,知识迁移能力不足,这对他们将来融入社会产生了巨大影响。现阶段的数学教材并不适应学生的生活现状,也很难满足学生的发展需求,为促进智障学生的身心全面发展,提升学生的生活适应能力,高邮市特殊教育学校尝试开发了“生活数学”校本课程,这一课程很好地借鉴了学生的生活实践经验,同时亦能将数学知识应用到生活中去,其最终目标是满足每一个智障儿童的特殊需要,为弱智儿童适应社会、解决生活中的实际问题打下坚实的基础。
