真正原创型的文化创新,需要有古希腊哲学家从一滴水中发现世界的本源,或从一把火中追究到事物背后那个本质的东西的那种精神。中国古代思想家、哲学家仰望天空,激起对神秘之天穷究的热情。战国时屈原作《天问》,追究天是什么?天有几重?天之上是什么?天的形状是什么?天安放在那里?以及天的颜色等等,唐柳宗元作《天对》,对屈原的《天问》作出回应的解释,直到南宋陆九渊少年时问他的父亲:“天地何所穷际?”父亲笑而不答,陆九渊“遂深思至忘寝食”。这种“思而弗得,弗措也”的未追究到底决不罢休的精神,是一种原创精神。无论是自然科学的创新,还是哲学社会科学的创新,都应该具备这种精神。
