本研究以普通高校2016级新生为研究对象,运用调查统计法探究新生对英语听力的认知和听力学习情况。研究发现,(1)多数新生认为自身英语听力水平一般,原因包括词汇量不足、易紧张焦虑、不善于边听边记等,但绝大多数学生对提高听力水平的因素有所认识;(2)学习动机和习惯方面,低水平组新生听力学习多出于应试动机,平时只依赖课本内容,而高水平组新生源于兴趣,听力学习多结合课外内容;(3)听力策略方面,低水平组学生多利用预读选项和理解关键词,高水平组学生常利用多种策略。针对调查发现的新生英语听力问题,本研究从语言顺应论角度进行了语用对策分析。
In this study, freshmen of 2016 freshmen in colleges and universities as the research object, the use of survey statistics to explore freshmen’s cognitive and listening comprehension of English listening. The study found that: (1) Most freshmen think their English listening skills are common, including lack of vocabulary, anxiety and anxiety, lack of listening skills, etc. However, most of the students are aware of the factors that lead to improvement of their listening ability. ) In terms of learning motivation and habits, the freshmen’s listening comprehension in low-level group was mostly motivated by examination-oriented motivation and usually only relied on the content of textbooks. However, the freshmen in high-level group were mostly interested in listening comprehension and extracurricular learning. (3) In terms of listening strategies, Group students use pre-reading options and understanding of keywords, high-level group of students often use a variety of strategies. According to the findings of the new English listening problems, this study analyzes the pragmatic strategies from the angle of linguistic adaptation theory.
