词汇是语言的基础,在外语教学中也占据着极大的地位。但我国的英语词汇教学往往只是说出词汇的中文意思,学生们也往往是死记硬背。这导致的结果就是,单词是背下来了,可是却难以运用单词去表达意思进行交际。教师在很多情况下忽视了词汇存在的特定的语言环境及其搭配。本文简述了英国科学家利奇提出的七种类型的词语意义,并主要针对搭配意义,探讨了如何有效地进行英语词汇教学。
Vocabulary is the basis of language, which also occupies a great place in foreign language teaching. However, the teaching of English vocabulary in our country often only means the Chinese meaning of words, and the students are often rote memorize. The result is that the word is back down, but it is difficult to use words to express the meaning of communication. In many cases, teachers ignore the specific linguistic environment in which words exist and their collocations. This article gives a brief account of seven types of lexical meanings proposed by British scientist Leach and discusses how to effectively carry out the teaching of English vocabulary.
