In 12th Five-Year Program period， entire industry constantly formed the cooperation of industry with university， research and applying to promote the ability of innovation. There have been 41 science and technology prizes above third class that awarded by CNTAC （China National Textile and Apparel Council）， among them， “Digital automatic bobbin dyeing complete equipment”， which is based on woolen technique was awarded for Country Technological Award One.
To thoroughly carry on the “Standardized system construction plan of wool textile industry” and impelment standardized meatures orderly， Industry departments， relevant standardization technical institutions， scientific research units and enterprises cooperated together strongly in aspect of the achievements about rate and qulity revision， connection between international and domestic standard as well as propogation.
As the implement and conduct of brands strategy during the period of 12th Five-Year Program， wool industry is promoting its brand awareness， through the state policy， joined efforts from fostering of enterprises themselves， constant promotion， participant of social institution， various input in terms of quality， innovation， quick response， social responsibility， entire industry has been successful in construction of brands.
Huang Shuyuan introduced that by the end of 2014， wool industry processed 54 Chinese well-known trademarks， adding 15 than 2010. Among them， there are 7 wool yarns， 6 wool fabrics， 36 apparel and woolen （cashmere） sweater， 4 of blankets， and 1 wool comforter trademarks.
Note that there are achievements of energy reduction and resource utilization， to conduct“Discharge Standard of Water Pollutant for Wool Industry” and “Discharge Standard of Water Pollutant for Wool Industry” and promote batch of new technologies for energy saving for sustainable development.
For the advance of industry， in the period of 12th Five-Year Program， wool textile relying on teachers and experts of domestic and foreign universities， colleges， scientific research institutes， enterprises to construct and train a professional team. Huang said， in these 5 years， there have been four Chinese annual famous textile innovators， one State technical expert， and several industrial technical experts and more than 500 people participated the senior talent training.
Communication with international wool industry was expanding in this period， more di- verse， more influential with famous enterprises and brands in the international recognition. We have undertaken the 80th and 84th International Wool International Conference in China， which promoted speaking right of Chinese wool industry internationally. Since 2012， China China Wool Textile Industry Association has taken charge of executive committee of International Wool Textile Organization （IWTO）， Erdos Group become the International wool， camel hair organization （CCMI） executive committee member； Sunny Group finished 17 standards during the 12th Five-Year Program period， and published ten standards； In 2011， Erdos Group submitted “Cashmere Wool Products Pilling Test Standard” become the IWTO formal standards； In 2015， Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that submitted “DNA Cashmere Test Standard” project become IWTO standard draft.
