单模-多模-单模光纤(SMS)结构是在光纤中实现多模干涉(MMI)的一种简单而有效方法。利用SMS对温度与轴向应变光谱响应极性相反的特性研究了其温度补偿。研究证实,选择具有适当热膨胀系数的封装材料可以实现有效的温度补偿。使用陶瓷材料可使SMS的温度稳定性达到1pm/℃。
Single mode - multimode - singlemode fiber (SMS) structures are a simple and effective way to implement multimode interference (MMI) in optical fibers. The temperature compensation was studied by using SMS, which has the opposite polarity to the response spectrum of temperature and axial strain. The study confirmed that the choice of a suitable thermal coefficient of expansion of the packaging material can achieve effective temperature compensation. The use of ceramic materials enables SMS temperature stability up to 1 pm / ° C.
