目的探讨2型糖尿病(T2DM)对急性脑梗死病人外周血清基质金属蛋白酶3(MMP-3)水平的影响。方法对63例首次发病急性缺血性脑血管病病人(伴T2DM29例、不伴T2DM34例)和与其一般情况相匹配的正常对照20例(伴及不伴T2DM各10例),行颈部血管超声检查检测颈动脉斑块情况及ELISA法测定MMP-3水平,并比较分析。结果血清MMP-3浓度水平组间比较显示伴2型糖尿病组均高于对应不伴2型糖尿病组(P<0.05);组内比较显示梗死组显著高于对照组(P<0.05);梗死斑块组均高于梗死无斑块组(P<0.05);伴2型糖尿病的梗死斑块组高于其他各组(P<0.05)。结论2型糖尿病可上调急性脑梗死病人血清基质金属蛋白酶3的水平,MMP-3可能参与2型糖尿病并发急性脑梗死的发生发展的病理过程。
Objective To investigate the effect of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) on the serum level of matrix metalloproteinase-3 (MMP-3) in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods Totally 63 patients with acute ischemic cerebrovascular disease (29 patients with T2DM and 34 patients without T2DM) and 20 normal controls (10 patients with and without T2DM) with normal incidence were divided into two groups: Ultrasound examination of carotid plaques and ELISA determination of MMP-3 levels, and comparative analysis. Results The levels of MMP-3 in the serum of the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were significantly higher than those without type 2 diabetes mellitus (P <0.05). Comparisons showed that the levels of serum MMP-3 were significantly higher in the infarction group than those in the control group (P <0.05) The plaque group was higher than the infarct-free plaque group (P <0.05). The plaque group with type 2 diabetes mellitus was higher than other groups (P <0.05). Conclusions Type 2 diabetes mellitus can upregulate the level of serum matrix metalloproteinase-3 in patients with acute cerebral infarction. MMP-3 may be involved in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with acute cerebral infarction.
