该文通过介绍“认知心理学理论”和“第二语言习得理论”在英语教学中的运用,提出教师可以创造性地利用材料,将最有用的知识和信息输入给学生,并创造各种真实或准真实的情景,刺激学生将输入信息经加工后正确输出,从而提高教学效果。该文以此为立足点,从“语言输入”与“语言输出”角度,就目前中学英语教学中存在的问题作分析,论述如何提高语言输入与输出的质和量,并结合中学材料,提出“优化输入,分层输出”的课堂教学模式,从而提高英语教学质量。
