Any discussion of rights involves class differences. As a minority ethnic group under the policy of multiculturalism, Negroes in Canada always face racial discrimination and cultural identity issues. This not only reflects the strategy of ethnic infiltration by the mainstream ethnic groups in the name of democracy and equality, but also the multiculturalism will eventually undergo the process of assimilation and reflects that the black group’s identity is more based on the impoverished economic status. The controversy that has arisen in black schooling proves that the dispute over the rights of black minorities under multiculturalism should be against racism, poverty and marginalization.
