Myospherulosis is a rare disease that has been recently recognized. In 1969, Mc Clatchie et al. Reported 12 cases, both of which were East Africans. The United States first reported 16 cases by Kyriakos in 1977 and a few cases in the future. The pathogenesis is mainly in the nasal, sinus and middle ear surgery after packing vaseline or trauma with vaseline antibiotic ointment, fat necrosis caused by infection; the above situation due to long-term exposure of red blood cells and vaseline or lipid foreign body reaction formed. The diseased parts of East Africa were in the upper arm, the femur and the buttocks, respectively, and were characterized by nodular swelling in the local subcutaneous or muscle, which Hutt believes may be related to the injection of inexperienced medical staff. The cases in the United States are respectively in the nose and sinuses
