“水口百合”是长兴县水口乡地方品种。因其优质、高产、适应性强、易栽培而受到当地农户的青睐;又因其个体大、色泽白、质量优而受到广大消费者的欢迎。“水口百合”播种期为9月中旬至10月上旬,第二年7月上旬开始收获上市,平均每亩(1亩=667平方米,下同)产量1000千克左右,亩产值5000元,亩效益3000～4000元,经济效益和社会效益良好。现将其栽培要点介绍如下。
