洪门水库在黎川县境内有水面近3万亩。从1979年以来,我县充分利用水库资源大力发展综合养殖,取得了较好的经济和社会效益.其中鱼的产量从1979年的12万公斤提高到1987年的48万公斤,翻了两番;收获珍珠60多公斤,还饲养了大量的畜(猪、羊)、禽(鸭),产值和效益十分可观。具体做法是:一、网箱育鱼种,栏汉养成鱼洪门水库系大型分枝型水库,有大小库汉40多个,若进行敞开式养殖,不便精养和捕捞,管理上也不利。因此,1982年开始用拦网将大小各个库汉拦截起来,放养大规格鱼种,进行精养。这样既不会影响库容蓄水又可防止逃鱼、易于捕捞。拦汉放养:需要大批大规格的冬片鱼种,以每亩放养100尾计算,则需要200万尾冬片鱼种,若向外地购买,需花大笔资金;用池塘培育鱼种,亦不能解决问题。于是采用网箱养殖则顺利地解决了鱼苗供应。鱼种网箱用3X1聚乙烯编织,网围大小1.10～1.30公分,规格视具体情况而定,一股可用4X4X2米网箱。每平方米放养夏花500～800尾。1983年即培育了冬片鱼种480万尾,平均每平方米出鱼种320片尾。4
