MIMO技术在射频通信领域已被深入研究,使空间成为一种可以用于提高通信性能的资源。无线光通信与射频通信在调制/解调方法、信道特性诸方面有很大的差异。文中评述了国内外有关无线光MIMO技术的研究进展,对无线光MIMO的提出背景进行了详细分析,最后通过实验说明了MIMO对大气湍流的抑制效应。实验结果表明:无线光MIMO不但使空间成为一种资源,提高了无线光通信的信道容量,而且可以抑制大气湍流效应,扩大了无线光通信的应用场合。
MIMO technology has been intensively studied in the area of radio frequency communications, making space a resource that can be used to improve communication performance. Wireless optical communications and radio communications in the modulation / demodulation method, the channel characteristics are very different. In this paper, the research progress of wireless optical MIMO technology at home and abroad is reviewed. The background of wireless optical MIMO is analyzed in detail. Finally, the inhibitory effect of MIMO on atmospheric turbulence is demonstrated experimentally. Experimental results show that wireless optical MIMO not only makes space a resource, improves the channel capacity of wireless optical communication, but also suppresses the atmospheric turbulence effect and enlarges the application of wireless optical communication.
