通过教师演示实验或组织学生亲手实验操作,可以使学生获得生动的感性知识,从而更好地理解、巩固所学化学知识,形成化学概念,促进观察、分析和解决问题等各方面能力的提高,并可激发学生的学习兴趣,能把书本知识由微观变为宏观,把抽象变成具体,变无形为有形,使学生易于获取多方面知识,巩固学习成果,培养学生的各种能力。教学实践表明,多数学生自己动手做实验的能力还较差,包括一些成绩较好学生,他们只能在纸上或者在试卷上做实验,但当进入实验室自己动手做实验时,情况就很不理想了。因此需要培养学生的实验能力。
