胡春洞教授曾指出:“英语学习应以学习为主(自主学习),语言为纲,词汇为重,阅读为先。没有阅读能力就没有演讲和写作的能力。”培养学生的阅读能力是小学高年级英语教学的主要目标。然而,在实际小学高年级英语教学中,学生阅读能力整体低下。究其原因,笔者认为部分学生在英语阅读中存在焦虑情绪,影响了他们阅读能力的发展与提高。小学生阅读能力的提高主要依靠教师指导下的课内阅读。审视高年级段的小学英语课堂教学,笔者认为可以采取以下有效策略。

Without reading ability there is no ability to speak and write. ” Training students to read is Primary goal of senior English teaching. However, in actual primary grade English teaching, students’ overall reading ability is low. The reason, I believe that some students in English reading anxiety, affecting their ability to read the development and improvement. The improvement of primary school students’ reading ability mainly depends on the instruction of teachers for reading in class. Examining the senior grades of primary English classroom teaching, I believe that the following effective strategies can be taken.
