在化学实验中,激发学生实验兴趣,有助于唤醒学生的创新意识,进而激励他们努力去求知、探索、创新和改造。“实验教学可以帮助学生形成化学概念”。教师立足于教材而不拘泥于教材,忠于教材而不盲从于教材,这样才能充分挖掘现有教材中的类似课题,从而使学生形成科学精神和科学态度,提高学生的自主探究能力和自主学习能力;使学生不再是听化学、读化学,而是在做化学(即探究)中形成终身学习的意识和能力。学生对探究有兴趣,是探究能够顺利进行的直接动力。因此,为增加实验的趣味性,实验内容除课本外,也应该选择与日常生活、环境、能源、生产等相联系的实际问题。
