全人教育思想的教育目标体现了我国目前高等教育发展的形势,与外语教学改革的趋势不谋而合,符合我国人才培养的长期目标。大学英语这门课程教授的不仅仅是语言文化知识,更应该是作为一个社会人的全面综合素质的发展与积淀。在大学英语教学中应该改革传统的以知识的传授为主要目标的教育理念,努力实践全人教育这一理念。本文从课程性质、教学目标、教学模式、教学评估等方面探讨了大学英语教学中“全人教育”思想践行的必要性。
The educational goal of holistic education ideology embodies the current situation of higher education development in our country. It coincides with the trend of foreign language teaching reform and meets the long-term goal of talent cultivation in our country. College English is not only taught in this course, the language and cultural knowledge, but should be as a comprehensive social quality of human development and accumulation. In college English teaching, we should reform the traditional educational concept of imparting knowledge as the main objective, and strive to practice the concept of holistic education. This article discusses the necessity of practicing “holistic education” in college English teaching from the aspects of course nature, teaching goal, teaching mode and teaching evaluation.
