September 9, “American Cranberry, Highcultivated Blueberry, Pecans fruit nutrition and dining use seminar ” held in Beijing Grand Hyatt Hotel. The conference, funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), is part of the Global Market Initiative (GBI). The meeting was invited to Dr. Amy Orwell, a scientist at the Mallard Blueberry and Cranberry Research Center at Rutgers University in the United States, Thomas Penn, a food scientist at Highland Blueberry Association, and Professor of Food Science and Technology at the University of Georgia, Dr. Nader Peggy introduced and shared the nutritional benefits of these three kinds of health foods, and the former Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Embassy in Beijing
