旋耕机的作业质量及能量消耗,除受其本身运动参数及结构参数的影响外,还直接受其工作部件——旋耕刀形状的影响。尤其在南方水田地区,土壤粘湿,稻茬、残株的韧性大,如刀片设计不当,容易造成旋耕机缠草拖推。因此探讨旋耕刀的设计方法(主要是刃口曲线),是旋耕机研究的一个重要方面。本文针对南方水田的耕作要求,从分析现有刃口的滑切性能入手,提出另一种设计和制造都比较简便的偏心圆刃口曲线设计方法(本文先讨论侧切刃设计,关于正切刃的设计将在下一篇文章中论述)。
