The quality of life of 208 patients with pneumoconiosis was investigated using the St. George’s Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ). The results showed that with age, SGRQ score increased, pneumoconiosis patients with respiratory-related quality of life decline. Patients with longer pneumoconiosis patients with higher SGRQ respiratory symptoms score; patients with more complications, activity-restricted score higher. Suggesting that different gender differences in the extent of activities of patients with pneumoconiosis may be related to the physiological and structural differences between men and women; in addition to age, the dust-related length of service and respiratory symptoms of pneumoconiosis; control of pneumoconiosis patients, can effectively improve the survival of patients with pneumoconiosis quality.
