尽管关于TGF-β_1对各种组织的作用已有大量报道,但其对中枢神经系统的作用却所知甚少。最近已证明TGF-β_1能抑制培养的正常星形胶质细胞的增殖;控制鼠正常星形细胞的分化。现首次报告该因子对人胶质瘤细胞增殖、迁移和侵袭的作用。 测定所用IPNT-N细胞系得自一例6个月小儿丘脑下部纤维状星形细胞瘤;IPSB=18得自一例48岁男病人颞叶3级胶质瘤;IPRM-5得自一例49岁女病人额叶多形性胶质母细胞瘤。体外分别测定TGF-β_1对三种不同恶性程度胶质瘤细胞系的增殖性、能动性和侵袭性的作用。
Although much has been reported about the effects of TGF-β_1 on various tissues, little is known about its effects on the central nervous system. It has recently been demonstrated that TGF-β_1 can inhibit the proliferation of cultured normal astrocytes; it controls the differentiation of mouse normal astrocytes. The effect of this factor on the proliferation, migration, and invasion of human glioma cells is now reported for the first time. The IPNT-N cell line used in the assay was obtained from a 6-month pediatric hypothalamic fibrous astrocytoma; IPSB=18 was obtained from a 48-year-old male patient with temporal lobe grade 3 glioma; IPRM-5 was obtained from a 49-year old female Patient frontal lobe glioblastoma multiforme. The effects of TGF-β_1 on the proliferation, motility, and invasiveness of three different malignant glioma cell lines were determined in vitro.
