萨德伯里盆地内5座矿山微震系统为福尔肯布里奇有限公司的岩爆研究提供了基础资料。经过对资料的日常和长期分析及地下观测,已证实了这5座矿的断层滑动机制,对福尔肯布里奇矿整个历史的详细分析正在进行中,而且正在用有限元的数值模型模拟断层粘性滑动性状和诱发振动对岩石及填充物质的影响.在大学正研究包括以地震波传播及全微震波形的收集为基础的岩体层析成像法,以便应用先进的地震统计分析技术。
The five mine microseismic systems in the Sudbury Basin provide the foundation for the study of rockburst in Forcker Bridge Ltd. After routine and long-term analysis of the data and under-ground observations, the fault-slip mechanism of these five mines has been confirmed and a detailed analysis of the entire history of the Falkenridge mine is under way and is being simulated using the finite element numerical model Effects of Fault Viscous Sliding Behavior and Induced Vibration on Rocks and Filling Materials. At the University, research includes rock tomography based on seismic wave propagation and collection of all-in-microseismic waveforms in order to apply advanced seismic statistical analysis techniques.
