听说读写是英语学习的四大目标,其中阅读能力的提高是发展其他语言技能的基础和前提,因此如何提高阅读水平是至关重要的。而在阅读技能中泛读能力又是至关重要的,因为泛读是能较多接触所学语言、培养语感,从而获得大量知识的主要途径之一。泛读能力的提高除了在于学习语言知识点外,与语篇也有密切的关系,衔接理论又是篇章语言学的核心内容。针对学生在英文泛读中存在的语篇衔接的应用问题,教师在课文讲解过程中应增加对衔接方面的讲解,对学生进行相关训练,提高他们的泛读水平。
Listening, speaking, reading and writing are the four major goals of English learning. The improvement of reading ability is the basis and premise for developing other language skills. Therefore, it is of vital importance to improve reading proficiency. Extensive reading skills are also crucial in reading skills, as extensive reading is one of the main ways to gain access to a large amount of knowledge by gaining more exposure to the language of study and developing the sense of language. In addition to learning language knowledge points, the improvement of reading ability is closely related to discourse, which is also the core content of discourse linguistics. In view of the application of discourse cohesion in EFL reading, teachers should provide more explanations about the cohesion in the text explaining process, train their students and improve their reading proficiency.
