In recent years, historians and ethnographers in our country have carried out investigations and studies on the issue of hanging coffins in Chinese history. Due to the urgent need of studying Guizhou’s national history and ethnology, we conducted a preliminary investigation of the coffins in Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in and around the area. There are still a large number of coffin remains and relics preserved here. Some of these sites and artifacts have been destroyed. We have spent more than two months traveling to Luodian, Wangmu, Dushan, Huishui, Duyun, Huaxi and other regions to conduct site visits. Most of the coffins in these areas were settled in caves in the mountains or under the beaks of rocky rocks; some were placed above cliffs of cliffs; others were suspended in large holes in the rocky heads of rivers and streams. High Jedi 1000 feet, spectacular.
