结合工程实际需要，研制了一种新型的焊缝自动跟踪系统——基于ＣＣＤ视觉传感器的焊缝自动跟踪系统．该系统具有跟踪精度高，响应速度快，可靠性高等特点．较好地实现了大厚板窄间隙焊所要求的高精度跟踪．
Combined with the actual engineering needs, a new type of automatic tracking system for welding seam was developed, which is based on CCD vision sensor. The system has high tracking accuracy, fast response, high reliability and so on. The high precision tracking required by the narrow gap welding of the thick slab is achieved well.
