三叶草组织形态从经济角度来讲可谓非常明智,可是管理组织的人却感到很头痛。查尔斯·汉迪是欧洲最知名和最具影响力的管理思想家,以“组织与个人的关系”、“未来的工作形态”等新观念闻名于世。早在20多年前,汉迪就预言21世纪的全职工作者将不到就业人口的一半。他本人在49岁时亲身实践这一预言,转职为独立工作者。(汉迪的系列作品中文版已由中国人民大学出版社出版发行。)“解读大师”栏目现陆续选载查尔斯·汉迪的部分著作,希望读者能够藉以聆听和理解这位管理大师的理论和思想,敬请大家关注。本文系编者根据汉迪的《工作与生活的未来》、《觉醒的年代》两部著作的部分章节整理而成,阐述了他用以描述工作和组织形态变化趋势的一个核心概念——三叶草组织。汉迪认为,现在的组织由三部分人员组成:专业核心人员、外包人员和弹性人员;组织需要对这种趋势有清醒的认识,并积极应对来自三叶草组织形态的挑战。
Clover tissue morphology is economically very sensible, but people who manage the organization feel a headache. Charles Handy, Europe’s best known and most influential management thinker, is known around the world for new concepts such as “the relationship between the organization and the individual” and “future work patterns.” More than 20 years ago, Handy predicted that in the 21st century full-time workers will be less than half of the employed population. He personally practiced this prophecy at the age of 49 and was rehired as an independent worker. (The Chinese version of Handy’s series of works has been published by the publishing house of Renmin University of China.) “Interpretation of Master” column is now selected part of Charles Handy’s writings, I hope readers will be able to listen to and understand this master masters theory and Thought, please pay attention. Based on the chapters of Handy’s two chapters: The Future of Work and Life and The Age of Awakening, this essay elaborates on one of the core concepts he used to describe the trends in work and organization - the Clover Organization . Handy believes that the current organization consists of three components: professional core staff, outsourcing staff and flexible staff; the organization needs to have a clear understanding of this trend and actively respond to the challenges from the clover tissue morphology.
