Mathematics has great advantages in developing students’ thinking ability. Mathematics abstraction, strict logic and extensive application expand students’ thinking space, which is the main front for developing students’ thinking ability. The new curriculum standard for primary school mathematics requires students to learn how to use mathematical ways of thinking to serve the real life. They can use mathematics to solve problems encountered in daily life and can use it in other disciplines.
