前言许多激光和微波发射机同时要求快速的脉冲上升时间和体积重量的小型化。结合这两方面的要求,最希望的是在线型脉冲调制器发射机的设计中不用脉冲变压器。因为变压器的漏感使得脉冲上升时间增加,同时所用的变压器是一种体积重量都较大的元件。如果在线性调制器中省掉脉冲变压器,将使脉冲形成元件的负担加重。脉冲形成元件上充电电压应是负载(激光器或微波管)所需电压的两倍。并且应完成脉冲形成网络与负载之间的阻抗匹配。解决这个问题的一种方法是采用同轴电缆作为脉冲
Many laser and microwave transmitters require both rapid pulse rise time and volumetric weight miniaturization. Combined with these two requirements, the most desirable is that the pulse generator is not designed for on-line pulse modulator transmitters. Because the transformer leakage inductance makes the pulse rise time increases, while the transformer is a larger volume and weight of the components. If the pulse transformer is omitted in the linear modulator, the burden of pulse forming elements will be aggravated. The charge voltage on the pulse forming element should be twice the voltage required by the load (laser or microwave tube). And impedance matching between the pulse forming network and the load should be completed. One way to solve this problem is to use coaxial cable as a pulse
