信息技术课是与英语联系紧密的学科。作为网页制作的起始课,《认识Dreamweaver界面》一课的内容中涉及大量的英文词汇。为让学生从一开始就喜欢上Dreamweaver软件,并熟练掌握其界面的各部位名称,我决定采用双语教学,给学生创设英文的语言环境,让他们更好地理解英文软件中各种单词的含义,并尝试在信息技术课堂中用英语表达和交流,同步提高信息技术能力和英文水平。由于双语教学实施难度较大,无论对教师还是学生,这都将是一次挑战,所以教师在前一节课,通过师生交流,让学生明确了学好英语和信息技术的重要性以及二者的联系,为这节课的双语教学做好了铺垫。
教学过程
师:为了帮助大家把当前最重要的两门功课——英语和信息技术学好,老师决定从本节课起,尝试用双语进行教学,希望同学们能够全神贯注地配合老师!
T:Now,please listen to me carefully.Class begins!(师生问候。)
1.引出课题
T:From this class,we’ll learn a famous software together,with the name Dreamweaver. But what is the Chinese meaning of the word Dreamweaver? Dream means 梦,做梦,while the word weaver means 编织者,so all together the word Dreamweaver means 编织梦想的人。In this way,the person who use this tool would be a dreamweaver. So I wish that each of you would be a good dreamweaver,will you?In this class,we’ll come to learn the surface of Dreamweaver.
2.认识Dreamweaver界面
T:Now,I will give you a few minutes to remember each part of Dreamweaver.
S: … (学生利用课件,自由记忆各部位名称。)
3.课堂练习,教师带领学生记忆
1)T:Stop here please.Now I’ll ask you questions and you could answer me together.(教师按顺序依次提问Dreamweaver界面各部位名称。)
2)T:Next,I will ask you questions in random order and you could point to the correct position.(反复随机提问,加深记忆。)
3)T:Stop please.Have you remembered each part of Dreamweaver?
T:Now,let’s have a game.I’ll ask one of you to come to the blackboard and act as a teacher. You should do like this…(示范:指向Dreamweaver界面某部位,然后提问学生名称。)
T:He’s very good,let’s give him a big hand!(带头鼓掌。利用让学生当老师的办法,变学生为课堂的主人。)
T:Next,let’s have another game.I’ll ask another student to come to the blackboard and still act as a teacher.And he will do like this…(示范:说出Dreamweaver界面名称,找其他学生到黑板旁,指出该名称所在位置。)
4.自由探索
T:Now, let’s enter the Dreamweaver program,and experience the software actually.You could write something on the work area and so on.
教学反思
当怀着忐忑的心情迈出双语教学的第一步后,我欣喜地发现:学生很喜欢上这样的课。他们回报我的是更安静的课堂氛围和热情积极的参与状态,尤其是英语基础较好的学生,表现得更兴奋。我将在今后的教学实践中更深入地探索双语教学的形式和方法,让信息技术课堂因双语教学而更加精彩。
