英语的普及率全球第一，但即使是母语为英语的英国人、美国人，也不见得熟知英语中这些十分有趣的事情——
l.Tens of thousands of English words， but only “ bookkeeper ” has three consecutive double letters in the words.
英语单词成千上万，但只有“bookkeeper”中具有连续3个双字母排列的单词。
2.“defenselessness” and “respectlessness” is the longest two words which contain only one yuan letter ， that’s the letter E， and the two words has also fifteen alphabet.
“defenselessness”（无防备）和“respectlessness”（不尊重）都是最长的只含有一个元音字母的两个单词，那就是字母e，并且这两个单词都有15个字母。
3.“Almost” is the only a few letters in alphabetical order of common words.
“almost”是唯一一个字母按字母表顺序排列的常用单词。
4.It is said，“The sixth sick sheik’s sixth sheep’s sick.”is the most difficult to pronounce twister in the English language.
据说，“The sixth sick sheik’s sixth sheep’s sick.”（第六个患病的酋长的第六只羊患病了。）是英语中最难发音的绕口令。
5.ln English，there is only an ordinary word of the 5 vowels together， it is queueing.
在英语中，只有一个普通单词的5个元音字母排在一起，它就是queueing（排队）。
6.There is a seven-letter word in the English language that contains nine words without rearranging any of its letters， and that seven -letter word is，“therein”，which contains： the，there，he，in，rein，her，here，ere，herein.
“therein”只有7个字母，但却能在不改变字母顺序的情况下拆出另外9个单词来。它们分别是：the，he，her，there，here，I，rein，in，herein。
7.“Stewardesses”（stewardess） is the longest word which you can type it on the computer in your left hand.
“stewardesses”（女乘务员）是最长的只用左手就能在电脑键盘上打出来的单词.
8.Counting from l to 999 in English can not find the letter A，only 1 000（one thousand）a shadow.
用英语从1数到999也找不到字母a，只有到了1 000 （one thousand）才会出现a的影子。
9.The shortest complete sentence in the English language consists of only one word and that is“GO”.
英语里由一个单词组成的最短的完整的句子就是“GO”。
10. The word “goodbye” came from “God bye”，which in turn comes from “God be with you”.
“goodbye（再见）”这个词其实是由“God bye”演变而来，而“God bye”又演变自“God be with you”。
11.The only 15 letter word that can be spelled without repeating a letter is uncopyrightable.
uncopyrightable（不可赋予版权的）是唯一一个由15个完全不重复的字母组成的单词。
