读国外有关教育方面的书籍,总是羡慕外国的孩子,不必拘泥于课堂,不被分数所束缚,可以大胆地向老师的某种论断说“不”;也羡慕国外的教师,不拘泥于条条框框的教学模式,不必为学生分数的高低而担忧。他们的教育总是在一种看起来漫不经意中完成,而作为这种方式的主体——教师和孩子,似乎总显得那样轻松和愉悦。于是,我们渴望:什么时候,我们的教育也能达到如此境界?早在1995年,江苏省扬州市双桥实验小学就开始了课程改革的实验。他们依托本地维扬文化,把少先队综合实践活动纳入新课程体系中。于是,孩子们走出了校园,穿梭在扬城的大街小巷。一座小桥、一间茶室都成了他们学习的课堂;一个牌匾、一块石碑都成了他们的教科书。从他们渴望知识的眼神中,从他们汲取知识的喜悦中,我们知道了:
