清代末年,进入巴蜀地区的日本人用异域者的眼光,对四川的教育进行审视和评价,并留下了较为丰富的文献材料。从明治维新实行教育改革并取得成功的经验出发,他们在看到四川教育发展的同时,更多地认识到了改革中存在的不足和问题,发现了四川教育所呈现出的特点,这对于研究四川教育有着极为重要的价值。考察这些日本人撰写的游记,有助于我们从新的角度,更为深入地认识清末四川教育变革的特点。
In the late Qing Dynasty, the Japanese who entered the Bashu region used the vision of the invaders to examine and evaluate the education in Sichuan and left more abundant documents and materials. Starting from the experience of reform and implementation of education reform in the Meiji Reform, when they saw the development of education in Sichuan, they realized more about the deficiencies and problems in the reform and found the characteristics of Sichuan education. Education has extremely important value. Examining the travelogue written by these Japanese people helps us to understand more deeply the characteristics of educational reform in Sichuan in the late Qing Dynasty from a new perspective.
