解读山水画家刘罡的作品,据其艺术经历和作品风格,尤其是人文思想与笔墨语言的转化及演进,我们不妨将其艺术划分为两个阶段:2000年前为第一个阶段,画家并不具体模拟客观物象,而是在感受、呼应后,将思想沉淀成无意识的倾发,在笔墨里去同构那自然的气势和生命的力量,使画面弥漫着浪漫而又瑰丽的气韵,颇有对艺术的人生这一境界的深情向往;2000年夏至今为第二个阶段,是画家感性表现趋向理性追求的过渡、转化期。主要以亲身经历过的景物为情感载体,洋溢着鲜活、亲切的生活气息。
