多年来,在英语教学中我常遇到两极分化严重的现象。这固然有学生的因素,但也有教师的原因。一味地采取死记硬背,借助“外力”把教学内容压给学生,忽视了对学生能力素质的培养,而造就了一批只会鹦鹉学舌、应付考试的“学习工具”。外语基础教育存在“费时较多,收效较低”的问题,完全与我们当今强调基础性以提高全民素质,培养不同层次的外语人才的原则相违背。现行的外语基础教育不能适应社会经济的发展需要。要使现行外语
Over the years, I have often encountered serious phenomena of polarization in English teaching. Although this is a student factor, there are also teacher reasons.
