Euromart, a group of nine European aeronautical technology companies, has started to develop a new generation of aircraft that is more advanced than the Concorde. This research project is supported by the European Community. Aeroflot, a leader of the Euromart Group, flies into a two-year feasibility study with several other companies to explore the possibility of making Concorde 2 or 3 Concorde. To date, only 16 Concorde aircraft have been used on commercial routes. Because of the loud noise of this aircraft, many territories are prohibited from flying over it; in addition, it has a short range (3,000 nautical miles) and can not fly non-landing across the Pacific.
