柳州铁路局南宁南车辆段成立于1998年,现设有8个车间,7个职能科室。担负南昆线、湘桂线的柳州南至凭祥三个区段、黎湛线及地方铁路的南防线、黎钦线、南（钦）北线7个方向货物列车的检修工作。年完成路用货车段修2000多辆,辅修近6000辆。先后获得铁路局先进单位、文明单位、综治达标先进单位、普法宣传教育先进集体、南宁市花园式单位、自治区爱国卫生先进单位等多项荣誉称号。
