目前国内外已开采的铝土矿床全是风化红上型和沉积型矿床，唯有平果铝土矿是一种新的矿床类型——堆积型铝土矿。由于矿床类型不同，矿体赋存条件各异，随之开采技术也就各具特点，这对矿山的生产与经营活动以及经济效益都有着极大的影响。因此，研究堆积型铝土矿的开采特点是很有必要、很有意义的。
At present, all the bauxite mined at home and abroad are all weathered red-topped and sedimentary deposits, and only Pingguo bauxite is a new deposit type-accumulative bauxite. Due to the different types of ore deposits, the different ore deposit conditions and the different mining technologies will have great influence on the production and business activities as well as the economic benefits of the mines. Therefore, it is very necessary and meaningful to study the characteristics of the mining of hematite.
