In the 1970s my parents came to the United States to study together and later settled in Trenton, New Jersey. My father died of kidney failure at the age of 35, and my mother raised the three children alone. After having been in the house for nearly 10 years, my mom dropped her grief and gradually got some date objects. My two sisters and I were full of hostility to each of her subjects, and I always deliberately mocked and teased them when they came to the house. Such as shattering their sunglasses and cutting their briefcases. Each time, they are angry enough to choke, 悻 悻 leave, disappear from the mother’s world. Until one day, “Mr. Mango” appears. From the back, this dark-haired man looks like a Chinese man; from the front, it looks like an ancient Roman statue.
