本文属于翻译研究与插图技术文本认知理解研究的界面研究,为插图技术文本的翻译提供了一个基于认知视角的理论框架,认为插图技术文本的译者既需处理语言信息又需处理非语言的视觉信息,因此译者的翻译方法建立在两种不同模态共同提供的信息基础之上。文章通过考查翻译的认知特性并将其与插图文本的两种认知模型(CTML和ITPC)进行对比,从而证明了提出的假设,并为这方面的研究构建了一个理论框架。另外,文章还指出了本研究对未来插图文本翻译研究的启示及意义,强调了本研究的重要性。
This article belongs to the interface research of translation research and illustration technology text cognitive comprehension. It provides a theoretical framework based on cognitive perspective for the translation of technical texts in graphic illustrations. The translator of technical texts in graphic illustrations needs to process both the linguistic information and the non-linguistic Therefore, the translator’s translation method is based on the information provided by two different modalities. By examining the cognitive characteristics of translation and comparing it with two cognitive models of inset text (CTML and ITPC), the article proves the proposed hypotheses and establishes a theoretical framework for this research. In addition, the article points out the enlightenment and significance of this study on the future illustration text translation research, emphasizing the importance of this study.
