面对有着不同文化背景、社会心理结构、生活方式和思维方式的国外游客,景点英文翻译具有至关重要的媒介传播作用。然而,目前很多景点宣传材料、解说词和简介的翻译质量参差不齐、各类翻译问题不断。本文以胡庚申教授的生态翻译学为理论框架,探讨了目前景点英文翻译存在的问题和生态翻译学对景点英文翻译规范化研究所带来的启示,旨在为解决中国国际旅游发展中中西文化冲突和提高景点的旅游质量提供一些新的研究视角。
In the face of foreign tourists with different cultural backgrounds, social psychological structures, lifestyles and ways of thinking, English translation of scenic spots is of crucial importance to the media. However, at present, the quality of the translations of the propaganda material, the commentary and the introduction of many scenic spots is uneven, and various types of translation problems continue. This article takes Professor Hu Gengshen’s ecotranslation as the theoretical framework to discuss the current problems in English translation and the implications of ecotranslation for the standardization of English translation of scenic spots, aiming to solve the conflict between Chinese and Western cultures in the development of international tourism in China And to improve the quality of tourist attractions to provide some new research perspectives.
